Rock, Paper, Scissors: Terribly out of date so say hello to Rock, Paper, Scissors, Lizard, Spock

Recently I ran across a new product on Thinkgeek.com. Although I like pretty much everything on their site and wish I had enough money to buy everything, this was really interesting. It's a shirt with the instructions on how to play this classic game with a twist. Just as it says in the title the two new elements: Lizard and Spock.

Here Is how the game is played:

Scissors cuts Paper

Paper covers Rock

Rock crushes Lizard

Lizard poisons Spock

Spock smashes Scissors

Scissors decapitates Lizard

Lizard eats Paper

Paper disproves Spock

Spock vaporizes Rock

and as always, Rock crushes Scissors

the Dark-Suck theory of light

One of my Teachers were messing around one day and he told us about a theory that he proposed in college for fun. His premise for this theory was that devices and things that put out light didn't do that at all. Instead, for example, a lightbulb would suck the darkness out of a room, and in it's place would be light. Light bulbs, according to the theory, would be dark sucking or countering devices. The intensity of the light would depend on how much darkness is taken from the room.

Light bulbs are taken for granted too often. When you enter a darken room, you flip the light switch. What happens? Does a light come on or does the darkness leave? Don't think about it too hard.

Happy April Fools day everyone. It's been a while sense my last post. Well a couple things have happened sense then. For one I'm a year older. My birthday was last month on the 12th.

This Saturday is going to be the first of five Easter dramas that I'm in at my church. My role is kind of weird because I start as a random, no name disciple then end of in the crowd scenes yelling to crucify Jesus. So I go from one extreme to another. I really hope no one gets turned off my the betrayal of more than half of the disciples.

Next week is finals week for me, and I have several finals this week. If you never hear from me again you know what happened......

Some Humor..... at least I think so

Once upon a time there was a lobster. His name was lenny. Lenny Lobster was a good lobster, and also good looking. Every one knows what happens to good looking lobsters right? They end up in the tank at restaurants that boil them alive and serve them to customers. So that is just what happened to Lenny. One day while he was minding his own business he was caught. He ended up in a pot of boiling water, and being a good lobster he went to crustacean heaven.

While Lenny was happy at crustacean heaven he missed his good friend Sam who was a clam. He and Sam went way back so one day he asked the equivalent of Saint Peter to let him go and visit his friend. The ancient Lobster told him that he could visit only if he took a harp with him and that he couldn't get back without his harp. Also he only had 24 hours to see his friend. 

So Lenny appeared to Sam, and Sam was so happy to get a visit from him. He told him all about his new business, a disco. They partied all day and soon it was time for Lenny to leave. When he went back to crustacean heaven he met the ancient Lobster, he slapped his forehead, and said, "I left my harp in Sam Clam's Disco"!!!!
