Finals! oh boy!

Next week is finals week for me, and I have several finals this week. If you never hear from me again you know what happened......

Some Humor..... at least I think so

Once upon a time there was a lobster. His name was lenny. Lenny Lobster was a good lobster, and also good looking. Every one knows what happens to good looking lobsters right? They end up in the tank at restaurants that boil them alive and serve them to customers. So that is just what happened to Lenny. One day while he was minding his own business he was caught. He ended up in a pot of boiling water, and being a good lobster he went to crustacean heaven.

While Lenny was happy at crustacean heaven he missed his good friend Sam who was a clam. He and Sam went way back so one day he asked the equivalent of Saint Peter to let him go and visit his friend. The ancient Lobster told him that he could visit only if he took a harp with him and that he couldn't get back without his harp. Also he only had 24 hours to see his friend. 

So Lenny appeared to Sam, and Sam was so happy to get a visit from him. He told him all about his new business, a disco. They partied all day and soon it was time for Lenny to leave. When he went back to crustacean heaven he met the ancient Lobster, he slapped his forehead, and said, "I left my harp in Sam Clam's Disco"!!!!

Santa, is he a superhero?

Most children today are familiar with good old Saint Nick. The jolly, plump man who flies through the night on Christmas eve and gives presents to all the good little girls and boys. The question in my mind is the how. Does Santa really need reindeer? How does he give presents to everyone? That is really a lot of people. Does he use the slave labor of elves?

Now for my explanation. Santa Clause has some kind of super powers. He can either fly by himself, example Superman, and has no use for reindeer because the would just slow him down, or he can freeze time in each time zone at exactly 11:59 midnight and deliver the presents. 

And slaving elves would be just wrong for someone who gives gifts to children on 

Christmas, so I believe that he uses alien technology, maybe kryptonian, example Superman again. 

So is Santa also an alien? Is he a superhero? Well......I'll let you decide.

A Bit o' Poetry

Last night I was feeling a little bit of an inspiration so I wrote a poem. I seem to be inspired from time to time to write a bit of poetry. So readers don't expect it every week, but here is a poem I would like to entitle A Little Poem About You and Me. 

 

I'm all alone in the middle of a crowd 

It feels like I'm the only one around

My voice echos off the walls

No one seem to hear my desperate calls

It's like I'm Invisible to the world, you see

But I don't fell that way when you are here with me

I feel like someone cares that I'm alive

A thought of you stops me from taking a dive

Sometimes I wish we were together always

I have a hope that it will start one of these days

Other times I feel forever I can wait

If you and me together is our fate

Christmas!!

The Thanksgiving holiday is now officially over. For all those of you are traditionalists, you may now commence with the Christmas season.

Thanksgiving

Now that Thanksgiving is this week, I would like to mention some things that I am thankful for.

I am thankful for turkey, the main dish on my plate every thanksgiving. And even after Thanksgiving is over it makes for some awesome sandwiches. Also ham is always a good part of the overall experience. Then comes the chicken and dumplings, the mashed potatoes and gravy, the potato salad, and the desert. You can't beat a good piece of pecan pie.   

In all seriousness I am thankful all my blessings and for my friends.
